Naim is a young researcher at University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal.
He concluded his Master degree in summer 2015 with a thesis on the:
“Correlative study of soils at risk: a case of expansive soils in University of Bordj Bou Arreridj”, Algeria.
His research interest is the reuse of mining and quarrying waste as alkali-activated based binders. Specifically, microstructure and physical-mechanical properties.
Within REMINE project, Naim will develop novel waste-based geopolymer binders by combining mining and quarrying wastes with other mineral and non-mineral waste.
