NEW MUD WASTE COLLECTION AT PANASQUEIRA MINE

Location: Minas da Panasqueira, Portugal

Summary: On the 17th February 2017, the group of young researchers currently working on the REMINE project at Covilhã, Portugal, visited the Panasqueira Mine for collection of mud waste. Naim Sedira, Pedro Humbert. Imed Beghoura, Abdelhakim Benhamouda are the researchers working at UBI. Luciano Rato and Jorge Bento are the technicians. Besides, Narimane Zaidi and Tourkia Guerzou, are young investigators of University of Khenchela and University of Mostaganem, in Algeria, that visit for the first time the “Gigantic waste mud deposits”. The group was accompanied by Manuel Pacheco, Panasqueira Director of underground work.
